Kwa heri Heri mission hospital. (kwa heri means goodbye in swahili)
And then the day came that we said good bye to Heri hospital, our home for 3 months where we have had good times, rough times and gained alot of experience that we will cherish the rest of our life.
There were some mixed emotions when the car drove away from the hospital and we looked back at this beautiful place and recalled all the things we have done there.
A part of us didn't want to leave this place we love so much now but a part of us was looking forward to our next mission, safari, Zansibar and etc. And then going back home to our families and friends and celebrate christmas. But now it was time to say good bye and we were driven to Kigoma to take the train from Kigoma to Dodoma the following morning (1.december).
The train ride was excellent. We enjoyed our chance to travel first class (wonder when we will be able to do that again :)). 32 hours of african nature at its best with some delays of course and we arrived in Dodoma 2.december. From Dodoma we took a bus to Dar es salaam ( from the official capital of Tanzania to the unofficial capital) and then the hippo and the giraffe parted for a week.
The giraffe went to see the giraffes of serengeti and ngororgoro and the hippo (that likes to be in the water) went straight to Zansibar for a diving course. Another episode of mixed emotions...

Hmmm, you've gone off to the Serengeti to look at Giraffes? So you may not check your messages, but I hope you do.
Your blog is fantastic. It looks like you're having an amazing experience. I can't wait to see you in the new year and hear all your stories.

Mér þótti afskaplega leitt að missa af þér þegar þú varst á landinu. Er búin að lesa Afríkufréttir reglulega og var farin að hlakka svo mikið til að sjá þig. Vonandi kíkjum við familían til Köben á þessu ári og þá hittum við á þig.
